There's also a player called Roman Miroshnichenko who's a disciple of Al Dimeola. Very good player.


In general though there's no big fingerstyle scene here in Moscow. Tommy Emmanuel played here a few months back at the House Of Music, a grand music venue in the centre of town and that was an awesome gig. He had the Russians eating out of his hand.Clap


But like everywhere, the acoustic guitar is popular. You'll always find characters in the metro stations and subways bashing away rather badly at beaten up guitars. They enjoy murdering Beatles songs.!! Some enterprising chaps even haul amps and drum kits to these dodgy precincts and make a deafening racket down there.
